The DraftStoppa is a simple and clever Australian invention to help reduce your energy costs. It prevents hot or cold air from entering or escaping...
The Belimo Energy Valve is a pressure independent control valve that in addition monitors coil performance and energy consumption. On request, it can also manage the Delta T and communicates with the IoT cloud.
Every refrigeration unit, system or plant requires a precise flow of liquid refrigerant to keep the refrigeration system functioning properly. Before the 1970s, most systems used what were known as thermostatic or thermal expansion valves . In simple terms TEVs perform their role in controlling the refrigerant fluid entering the evaporator by means of a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor. Thermal expansion valves are often referred to generically as metering devices.

Electronic expansion valves, were introduced post 1970s. EEVs are modern high performance metering devices. Alike their predecessors, EEVs regulate the flow of gases or liquids in a variety of HVAC/R applications. EEVs greatest asset is they offer greater regulation of different pressure applications, especially condensing pressure. A basic refrigeration cycle consists of four major elements, a compressor, a condenser, a metering device and an evaporator. The lowering of condensing pressure is a proven major energy saving measure. At lower condensing pressure, compressor energy use will be reduced.
Total Climate Solutions can assure you that electronic expansion valves are stable and reliable. EEVs in refrigeration systems allow for significant energy savings. These savings are through the wide range of the valves operation at various differential pressures and the precision in terms of control. Their regulation of the refrigerant flow also reduces the risks of failures. Additionally, installing just one expansion valve can make the refrigerant circuit much simpler. Without doubt the application and use of EEV technology ensures energy savings that translates into a very fast return on investment. Total Climate Solutions can recommend and install the latest and greatest electronic expansion valves into your refrigeration system. Energy Valves consider spare parts a service to its clients, not a source of revenue. Spare parts are available for the life span of the products, regardless of time. As well as local support in Australia provided by GSL Engineering, Energy Valves also has a Malaysian branch providing support to the Australasian region.
The Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards scheme helps Australians compare the water efficiency of a range of appliances and fixtures. WELS regulated products include washing machines, dishwashers, showers, toilet suites, urinals, taps and flow controllers. Products are tested for water consumption and given a rating of up to 6 stars. The rating label is displayed on the product. The WELS registration databaselists all regulated products with their star ratings and water consumption. It is illegal to supply WELS regulated products that are not registered and labelled, so check for the water rating label and registration of the product before you buy. You may be eligible for rebates or other assistancewhen installing some water efficient appliances or fixtures.

All plumbing systems, including toilet suites and other products with WaterMark certification, need to be installed by a licensed plumber. See licensedtrades .aufor plumbers in your area. Using products that are not certified may affect your insurance coverage for damage if the product fails. Basic jobs like replacing a bathroom tap valve or a showerhead can be legally done by the householder. There are tutorials online to guide you. To ensure the product maintains its water efficiency, the flow control device must not be removed.

Energy saving with process valves. 13th January 2016 Louise Smyth. Many industries use steam and compressed air as sources of heat and motive power and need to be managed properly in order to be used efficiently. Both are expensive to generate and so improving the level of consumption can have a significant impact on production costs.
